WFH; but make it ergonomic

At home or in the office; is your work setup ergonomic?

So many businesses are maximising on lessons learned during the past number of months and providing more flexible working arrangements. With a lot more people working from home - there’s no better time to review your workstation and assess whether you have the right setup. Many of us are tempted to work from the couch occasionally but we also generally recognise that it’s not always best for our posture.

Main tips to watch out for:

  1. Elbows at 90degrees to your work surface.

  2. Eyeline aligned to the top toolbar of your screen.

  3. Feet flat on the floor; thighs parallel to the floor.

  4. Comfortable chair with back and arm support.

Having the right chair, a laptop raiser for your desk, swapping for an ergonomic keyboard or mouse - simple adjustments can make the world of difference to both your short term comfort and long term health.
